Shrieking Violets
While these local gals are challenging stereotypical punk as taught by society with a song done in sort of an Avengersish way which is the highlight for me. The rest blends into a very mello and harmonic, well-sung chorus. A song about friendship epitomizes the harmonic - nearly college radio style, while a song about bad chinese food is silly and upbeat, like the Adicts did it.
